Vietnam Veteran Memorial in south Missouri

Here are two  artist renderings of the State Vietnam Memorial that will be constructed on the campus of College of the Ozarks.  Dedication is tentatively set for April, 2015.  The only obvious change of the rendering will be the addition of the Coast Guard emblem.

The College of the Ozarks is in the process of building a memorial honoring the KIA of the Vietnam war. It will list the names of 1400 plus military kia’s from the state of Missouri. It is scheduled to be dedicated in the spring of 2015.

What is needed is a contact person for each KIA, before the dedication each contact person whether it is a relative or friend will be notified prior to the dedication with an invitation to attend the dedication ceremonies . What I would like for you to do if you know of someone that lost their life in Vietnam please send me their contact information so they may be notified. You can mail it to me at 105 Southview Dr.. Branson Mo. 65616 or send me a email at plframpton543@msn.com.

Thank You for your help.

  1. I don’t know why everyone forgets about the Coast Guard. I was not a member, I was in the Army. I wish would remember they have also fought
    for this country.
