A few months ago a claim was filed for a Vietnam Veteran that had never asked for or filed for any benefits. It turns out he was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam. His records showed a bullet came through the bottom of his Huey and went through his thigh. His helicopter crash landed and the veteran was knocked unconscious as a result. Since this incident the veteran has had dental problems as well as back problems and possible traumatic brain injury. He is now within weeks of receiving his 100% service connection.
