The main theme for Veterans Legislation in the State of Missouri this year will be a DEDICATED FUNDING SOURCE to support and build back the Missouri Veterans Commission Capital Improvement Trust Fund (MVCCITF) for the future and not just one year at a time. Therefore, we have scheduled a rally at the capitol in the 1st floor rotunda on March 22, 2012.  The time will be 0900-1000 assemble in the Rotunda and place unit flags on the stairway.  The program will begin at 1000.  As time goes by we will advise all of you of any changes to what, when, where, etc.
Please pass this information along to your Posts, Districts, etc and ask members to put this in their calendars now so we will have another successful event.  Please wear your organizational covers (hats).

We have to let our elected officials know all veterans want to keep our Missouri Veterans Homes open, our Missouri Veterans Cemeteries open and our Veterans Outreach programs strong.  I hope to see you all there.
