Troy D. Williams

Troy D. Williams
Candidate for
VFW Department of Missouri Surgeon 2017 –2018

Troy’s blood runs deep for veterans. His Grandfather, a Navy Korean War Veteran, did not know the extent of the benefits he was deserved until he was on his death bed. His father, an Army Vietnam War Veteran, did not know the extent of the benefits he was deserved until four years ago. Troy’s uncle served in the Navy in Vietnam, and died not knowing the extent of the benefits he was deserved. Troy himself did not know the extent of the
benefits he was deserved, until joining and getting guidance from  Miller County VFW Post 2442. Too many Veterans are unaware of the benefits the VA has to offer. The VFW provides programs, benefit information, and the determination to fight for these entitlements. Every Veteran needs to know that the VFW is here for them: Veterans helping Veterans.
Troy Williams is currently a small business owner of a landscape company serving the Lake and surrounding areas. His company has been in business since 1998. Troy and his wife Tina are both members of Miller County VFW Post 2442. Troy has been the volunteer VFW Post 2442 Softball Field Manager for ten years along with the volunteer help of his wife.
Troy was born and raised in the state of Missouri and graduated from School of the Osage in 1988. Soon thereafter, he joined the United States Marine Corps. He went to boot camp in MCRD San Diego, CA. His first duty station was 8thand I Marine Barracks in Washington, DC and he was a part of the Presidential Honor Guard.
